The Limits of Control
Interpretation of Jim Jarmusch's movie The Limits of Control in a series of posters. Reiteration is a central motif of the movie: Abrupt emerging characters adress the silent main charachter each with the same principle. These monologues are set im letterpress in a strict grid and make at once the non-printing areas visible. The shape the text generates, defines the layout of a corresponding image variant of each poster and plays with the motif of reiteration.
